This horse is the one that pulled our carriage. I guess he is the largest horse in the city of Charleston. He was huge!

This telephone pole was full of used gum. It was disgusting, but Whitney thought it was hilarious!
We are in Charleston, SC and doing a lot of sightseeing. We love this historic city and Whitney loved learning more about the south!

HALLOWEEN NIGHT~~~~~

Halloween night in my neighborhood. Chloe and Emma had already run ahead of us, because they knew the drill...Boston figured it out, but he kept wanting to go up and down stairs and go inside people's houses. He didn't quite understand why he was going from house to house...he's used to going inside when he goes to visit someone. Give him a year! They were soooo darling..I loved Halloween this year!

Hee Haw Farms with the Family

Univ. of Phoenix Trick or Treating

Who wouldn't give THIS little guy candy?
Jorgen was having a blast handing out candy to the little kids, but his face really lit up when his wife and son showed up. He had to walk around the whole department, showing off his little guy to all of his friends. It was so cute. Chloe, Emma and Boston were having a blast as well. They got a ton of candy and got all warmed up for Halloween.

I think this photo sums up the afternoon. It was a long day and Emma was in her seat for about 5 minutes and she was out cold! When we got home, Michelle carried her into her bed and she slept for another hour or more. (I love how she is laying on her candy)

I think we have ONE Proud Papa!

Boston (lion) and Emma (bunny rabit) in awe of all the fun costumes

Checking out the goods!

Chase didn't really care about the candy, but had a ball getting a birds eye view of all the trick or treaters.

Family Night Fun at the Broadheads

So, a few weeks ago we had the family over for Home Evening and everyone brought their pumpkins to carve. I thought it would be a fairly easy and quick task, but OH NO....not this group! It was a full evening of holiday fun. They spread out a tarp and figured out their game plan, had their ideas on paper, and off they went. I have to say, the Moons are pretty intense when it comes to pumpkin carving. I think this is Jeremy's BIG thing! He brought little saws and drills, and all sorts of tools of the trade. I sat there in awe of his skill and determination and focus! I had a ball watching the little grandkids as they participated in the event. Little Boston LOVED the mess...the messier the better. Chase didn't really like the touch of the goo, so he had a rougher time. He just wanted to be in the middle of the fun, and participate with his mommy and daddy. He giggled quite a bit and everyone had a great time!

Whitney carved a pumpkin for me and this is it. I think she was making fun of me...what do you think?

More Carving...

Another angle of the pumpkin carving. I opted to sit it out and watch. These guys mean business...and they don't take their talents for granted. Each person was giving it his all and the finished products showed it! Such talent!

Family Home Evening - Pumpking Carving Event

This was so much fun. The kids came over with their little ones and layed out a tarp in the kitchen and carved their pumpkins. What a mess! They had a blast and so did the little grandkids. As you can see, Boston loved the pumpkin guts and couldn't get enough of the mess.

Gary and I watched while the family carved away. I think the Red Sox were playing, as well, so there were a few distractions.

Chase and Boston had fun in their own way. Chase didn't really like the feel of the pumpkin mess, and Boston just played in it....spooning it up and dropping it back down...and laughing..

Happy Birthday Wendy!

Happy Birthday Wendy! Cookie and I took Wendy to the Cheesecake Factory for her birthday, and we were sad that Annette was sick and couldn't make it. Glad you are feeling better, though. We missed you!
We had a great time and ate WAY too much! What a great place to splurge! Hope you had a great birthday Wendy. You know we love you and love celebrating any event with YOU!
