The New Arrival

We had our baby on 12/27 at 11:37am. He was 6ibs 1/2oz and 19 inches long. He is so cute and we love him very much!!!

The glow!

Aubree definitely has that pregnancy glow! I think Eric has it too! :) I can't wait to finally meet this little guy you two! Now that we got the pix of the belly out of the way, he's allowed to come!

Our SC trip is coming to an end.

This is a photo of Shane Branham. He is the son of Dennis and Tawana Branham, for those of you that remember them. He went to the movie with us a few days ago, and wished that Whitney was still there with us.
Dad and I took a walk around the pond a few days after he got out of the hospital. He was feeling much stronger and we were very relieved.

Dad's for Thanksgiving

Today we left Columbia, and drove to Raleigh, NC for the night, because we are flying out of here tomorrow and heading back to SLC. We have been gone over two weeks and have had a wonderful time. I had very mixed emotions as I said goodbye to Dad and Mona this morning. I am not a goodbye person and have a hard time leaving. I miss them so much and wish that we could see them more than we do. I always love being at their home, though, because it's so layed back and relaxing and they are so hospitable. Mona was constantly cooking for us and we gained a few lbs while we've been here. (a few, is being modest)... Anyway, it's time to get back to our normal routine and live in reality again. I miss my kids and grandkids and can hardly wait to hold those little ones in my arms again. I have to start preparing for Christmas because all of my children and grandkids will be there. Gary's two oldest children won't be there but Chad will be and we are really excited about that. So, I'm going to get a goodnight's sleep before spending the day in planes and airports. It is going to be a long day...

Myrtle Beach, SC Nov. 26, 2008

Myrtle Beach, SC

We went to Myrtle Beach on Tuesday and Wed. Nov. 25 & 26th, after spending two days in Charleston. We stayed at the timeshare and had a beautiful suite overlooking the ocean. The weather was pretty good, so we lucked out that way. We didn't do much, but really enjoyed the scenery. We don't get to the beach too often, so what a treat. Whitney was with us, but I think she was a little bit anxious to get back to Columbia to see Shane. We did get back in time on Wed. for her to go out with him. We found out in the way to Columbia, that Dad was in the hospital. I guess he got sick on Monday, the day we left, and spent 4 nights there. We headed to the hospital when we got back to his house, and found Mona sick as well. I felt so bad, because I had no idea. He was looking pretty good when we got there. Dad came home on Thanksgiving morning and we all had alot to be grateful for. Mona was feeling much better and Dad was much better as well. Mona made a feast as usual, and we ate till we couldn't eat anymore. Mark, Mona's son joined us and we had a wonderful day. We are so grateful for families. I was missing my other kids and grandkids, though, and am anxious to get back home to them.

Our visit to Charleston, SC

We had a great two days in Charleston, SC. The first day, we went on a carriage ride through the city, and walked around town, seeing the neat old houses and areas. We also walked all through the market and did very little shopping. It was so pretty there. The weather was perfect. This first photo was on the ferry, taking us to Fort Sumter.
