We went to Myrtle Beach on Tuesday and Wed. Nov. 25 & 26th, after spending two days in Charleston. We stayed at the timeshare and had a beautiful suite overlooking the ocean. The weather was pretty good, so we lucked out that way. We didn't do much, but really enjoyed the scenery. We don't get to the beach too often, so what a treat. Whitney was with us, but I think she was a little bit anxious to get back to Columbia to see Shane. We did get back in time on Wed. for her to go out with him. We found out in the way to Columbia, that Dad was in the hospital. I guess he got sick on Monday, the day we left, and spent 4 nights there. We headed to the hospital when we got back to his house, and found Mona sick as well. I felt so bad, because I had no idea. He was looking pretty good when we got there. Dad came home on Thanksgiving morning and we all had alot to be grateful for. Mona was feeling much better and Dad was much better as well. Mona made a feast as usual, and we ate till we couldn't eat anymore. Mark, Mona's son joined us and we had a wonderful day. We are so grateful for families. I was missing my other kids and grandkids, though, and am anxious to get back home to them.
