Daddy turned 85 on Jan. 28, 2008 and Wendy and I had the priviledge of flying out to SC to spend a week with me and Mona. We had such a great time and loved every minute of it. We got to see so many people and places and they almost kept up with us, though I am sure they will sleep or rest for the next week or more. We plan to go again next year and would hope that as many of you that could, to save up and join us. You will love it and it will mean the world to Daddy. He was in his happy place as Wendy and I tried to spoil him.
Mona cooked all week, so we got to enjoy that good old southern cooking. Eat your hearts out! I haven't eaten like that in a long time but I sure enjoyed it while it lasted. We appreciated all that they did for us. We had the royal treatment!
